Just another beautiful day in North Idaho....all the trees will be bare soon. It will be a colorless monochrome-ish look for awhile then.
Just another beautiful day in North Idaho....all the trees will be bare soon. It will be a colorless monochrome-ish look for awhile then. It's cold out, and we're enjoying the heat by the wood stove. Things the family and I have been enjoying: hot chocolate...and wool blankets. I brought my knits out last week, and stowed my Summer sandals at the same time. Living in a small house, storage is everything. I scored a great chair for my daughter! I also finished my duvet. I had been procrastinating making the button holes for the closure. It had been a few years since I had done a button hole. I rocked it out on my Grandma's vintage slant needle Singer. It has a great attachment that makes military precision style button holes. I don't know what I was afraid of.
They are were buttonholes of awesome! The 55+ year old machine is still whirring along. I adore having a machine in the house. As much as I love my little studio, stitching while everyone else is doing their own thing.
Now all I need to do, is get that quilt done!
